For A Beautiful Presentation
[Soil Baker] Jeju Hansik 1-Person Set (5-piece)
Soil Baker is a premium, boutique ceramic shop based in Seoul.
Many high-end chefs collaborate with Soil Baker in making custom dish ware for their restaurants.
Recently, Soil Baker collaborated with Michelin-starred Jeju Noodle Bar in New York.
Together, they created a 1-Person Hansik Set that highlights the minimal, natural feel of Korea's Jeju Island.
They released this collection for sale to the public.
Each piece in this set is hand-made using natural clay from Jeju Island.
Jeju clay has a unique property.
When fired at high temperature, the clay looks sleek & glossy - even without a coating of glaze.
That's because the island's soil is filled with volcanic ash.
Soil Baker mixes this volcanic clay with white clay to produce beautiful ceramics.
This 1-Person Jeju Hansik Set comes with everything you need for Korean meal (Hansik)!
3 separate bowls for rice, soup and noodles. 1 main banchan plate. And 1 mini plate for a dipping sauce (or secondary banchan).
These plates are very durable and stack on top of each other - making them easy to wash and store in small kitchens.
If you find yourself cooking alot of Korean food at home, consider adding this 1-Person Set to your kitchen!
Korean foods are special and taste even better in beautiful dishes! I love how wonderful my table looks with the Jeju Hansik sets.
High quality product which looks and feels even more beautiful than displayed on the picture. Seeing the material and aesthetics, the price seems justified. What else can I say- I‘m really happy serving my home cooked korean meals in those.
I bought the Jeju brown set and it finally arrived a few weeks ago. After using it numerous times, I am really pleased with it.
It’s sleek and ergonomically designed. The various sizes makes it extremely versatile for a plethora of dishes.
All the plates/bowl are stackable which makes them easy to store.
I really love my Soil Baker Jeju Hansik Set !! The handmade craftsmanship and minimalistic silhouette of the pieces are absolutely stunning. You can tell they are sturdy, but I appreciate that they are still quite lightweight. The size of each piece is so versatile that it allows me to use them for both my Korean cooking and western dishes.
