Currently, all parcels sent to the US are experiencing a ~2-week delay. The US Postal Service is experiencing delays due to COVID surges in select logistic hubs.
Please expect a total of ~3-4 weeks for delivery.
Our flat-rate international delivery fee to US addresses is now $5.
However, if you order 2 or more items - no shipping fee!
(Our fee has slightly increased from $3 to $5 to cover COVID-related fees that we're incurring on each outbound parcel.)
Note: Some product pages may still indicate a $3 flat shipping fee - but ignore this. We'll need some time to make the changes on each product page.
We are excited to announce that we have re-opened our doors for international delivery to the US.
However, there are still a few restrictions in place due to the ongoing pandemic:
- Delivery to Hawaii is restricted for now (temporarily).
Due to ongoing resource & logistics constraints at USPS, delivery to Hawaii is being restricted. All orders from Hawaii will be refunded.
We'll send out another email once this restriction has lifted.
- We're unable to deliver to Puerto Rico, Virgin Island, Guam, Marshall Islands & other US territories.
The USPS does not process and deliver international parcels from Korea to the following (US) territories: Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, Guam, Marshall Islands, Saipan, Samao, Palau.
We are unable to fulfill orders to these US territories.
The prices of Gochujar products - for US customers - have increased due to a significant price hike by USPS.
The Trump Administration has mandated (coerced) the United States Postal Service (USPS) to raise its prices for delivery - including a significant price hike for all international parcels.
The cost of sending an international parcel to the US from any foreign country has nearly doubled, as of June 2020.
Due to this major price hike, we've had to cut our profits, and raise the price of Gochujar products for US customers.
You will see an average increase of $5-$10, depending on the weight of the product.
For NON-US countries, international delivery costs have remained the same, so the prices will remain the same.
To account for the price difference, we have made a separate site within Gochujar for non-US customers.
If you are a non-US customer, please shop from our global store (https://global.gochujar.com).
If you are a US-based customer, use our original site (https://www.gochujar.com)
Both shops offer the same products - just different prices.
