Premium-Quality, Southern-Coast

[Hae Marlin] Premium Dried Anchovy (4 Varieties)

Today, we present you with premium dried anchovies harvested from the southern coast of Korea - off the Chungjeong Coast.

One look at Hae Marlin's anchovies and you'll quickly notice the difference. The skin is bright silver and the bodies are firm and in intact. That's because their anchovies are processed manually in small batches - with no heavy machinery or use of a processing plant. Instead, each batch of anchovy are quickly laid-out on the ocean shore to dry-out in the open sun, with the ocean breeze. This quick and open drying process helps to eliminate the fishy smell that you typically get in bulk-processed factory anchovies.

Hae Marlin is a local fishery that utilizes traditional fishing and processing techniques. They do not do bulk fish or use any machinery in their operations. Instead, the fish are harvested in small quantities and processed by hand. They state that is the best way to guarantee premium-quality seafood.

EXCELLENT QUALITY

I was very impressed with the quality of these anchovies. I bought the small and extra large size. The taste and texture is fantastic. It doesn’t smell fishy at all. The small anchovies are so delicious! I usually don’t enjoy eating anchovies but these melt in your mouth and so good for you. Best anchovies I’ve ever had. Very high quality anchovies. I am definitely purchasing this again. Great job Gochujar!
