Dr.Relief DAC2 Hydrating & Soothing Repair Ampoule

Calm, Hydrated, Barrier-Strong

Dr.Relief DAC2 Hydrating & Soothing Repair Ampoule (30ml)

If your skin feels tight and thirsty one day and red and touchy the next, meet Dr.Relief DAC2 Ampoule.

Most hydrating serums just add water. This one also looks after the barrier that's meant to hold that water in, and the redness that tends to come with a stressed complexion.

Dry, sensitive skin is a loop: a weak barrier lets moisture escape, skin gets irritated, and irritation weakens the barrier further.

Dr.Relief, a Korean derma-care brand, goes after all three at once with a four-part formula.

Three sizes of hyaluronic acid hydrate from the surface down. A 5X ceramide complex with cholesterol and fatty acids helps lock that moisture in. Liposomal centella (TECA) and madecassoside calm redness, and 7% dexpanthenol supports recovery. It's all kept at a skin-friendly pH of 5.5–6.0, in a light, watery texture that sinks in fast.

In a two-week human application test, skin hydration improved by 8.04% and redness dropped by 6.34%. After a single use, radiance rose by 21.5%.* It also won a 2021 Glowpick Award and holds a 4.9-star rating from over 3,600 reviews on the brand's Korean store.

So what's inside?

Key ingredients: Dexpanthenol (7%, vitamin B5), triple hyaluronic acid (high, mid and low molecular weight), 5X ceramide complex, cholesterol, fatty acids, liposomal centella asiatica (TECA), madecassoside, allantoin, squalane and centella leaf water.

To use: After toner, apply 1–2 droppers and pat gently until fully absorbed. On very dry days, layer it 2–3 times.

In the box: One 30ml (1.01 fl oz) ampoule. Made in South Korea.

To keep: Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and heat, with the cap closed.

Good to know: For external use only. If your skin is very sensitive, patch test first, and stop using it if irritation occurs. *Human application test on 20 women, Kyung Hee University Skin Biotechnology Center, June 2020. Individual results may vary.

Korean fans tend to stock up on it and pair it with the rest of the DAC2 line, the toner and cream.

[Dr.Relief] DAC2 Hydrating & Soothing Repair Ampoule

Hand holding the Dr.Relief DAC2 Ampoule against a blue sky

Thirsty one day, red the next?

Dry, sensitive skin rarely has just one problem. It feels tight underneath, flushes at the smallest thing, and never quite settles. The DAC2 Ampoule is Dr.Relief’s answer: one light, watery step that hydrates deep, calms redness and helps rebuild the barrier that keeps it all in place.

  • “I’ve tried everything and my skin still feels dry.”
  • “I want a moisturizer that’s gentle enough when my skin breaks out.”
  • “I want to calm redness and hydrate at the same time.”
  • “I wish one product could sort out texture and pores too.”

What Dr.Relief hears most often from its customers.

DAC2 Ampoule bottle tipping out its watery serum

Soothing starts the moment it touches your skin

Dr.Relief’s best-selling hydrating, soothing ampoule is made to work fast: instant glow, smoother texture, deeper hydration and less visible redness, all from a formula that sinks in without a sticky film.

Best-seller: based on Dr.Relief’s own cumulative sales.

DAC2 Ampoule with its quadruple formula

A quadruple formula for skin that needs a break

Most hydrating serums just add water. DAC2 pairs a patented barrier formula with triple hyaluronic acid and liposomal centella, so skin gets moisture, calm and repair from the same drop.

Hydration result after two weeks

Moisture that holds for 24 hours

Triple hyaluronic acid fills skin with water from the surface down, and a ceramide-cholesterol-fatty acid trio seals it in. In testing, skin hydration improved by 8.04% after two weeks.

Human application test, 20 women, Kyung Hee University Skin Biotechnology Center, June 2020. Individual results may vary.

Three sizes of hyaluronic acid

Three sizes of hyaluronic acid

  • High molecular weight forms a moisture film on the surface.
  • Medium adds a strong layer of hydration.
  • Low carries water deeper, where tightness starts.
Ceramide, cholesterol and fatty acid barrier

A barrier that stops moisture escaping

Ceramides, cholesterol and fatty acids are the building blocks of your skin barrier. DAC2 uses a 5X ceramide complex with both, so hydration stays put and skin looks plump, clear and dewy.

Redness result after two weeks

Calm for skin that flushes easily

Liposomal centella (TECA) and madecassoside help settle skin that’s been stressed or irritated. After two weeks of use, visible redness dropped by 6.34%.

Human application test, 20 women, Kyung Hee University Skin Biotechnology Center, June 2020. Individual results may vary.

Liposomal TECA serum drop

Centella, delivered deeper

TECA is the most active part of centella asiatica, concentrated and wrapped in liposomes: tiny capsules built like your own cell membranes. This patented liposome technology helps the soothing work reach deeper into skin. Each bottle carries 1,000ppm TECA and 1,000ppm madecassoside.

7% dexpanthenol texture

7% dexpanthenol for recovery

Dexpanthenol (vitamin B5) at a generous 7% may help support skin’s own renewal, restore a stressed barrier and keep oil and water in balance.

Glow and texture results after one use

Glow and smoother texture, from the first use

By hydrating and strengthening the barrier, DAC2 also helps keep excess oil in check, which shows up as clearer-looking pores and a healthy sheen. After a single application, radiance rose by 21.5% and skin texture improved by 2.65%.

Human application test, 20 women, Kyung Hee University Skin Biotechnology Center, June 2020. Individual results may vary.

Weakly acidic pH scale

Gentle, skin-matching pH

Healthy skin sits at a weakly acidic pH of about 5.5–6.0. DAC2 is formulated in the same range, so it works with your skin instead of against it.

Dr.Relief DAC2 Ampoule in hand

Made by a derma-care brand

Dr.Relief is a Korean derma-cosmetics brand built around sensitive, easily irritated skin, and the DAC2 Ampoule was made for exactly that.

Applying DAC2 Ampoule with the dropper

How to use it

After toner, apply 1–2 droppers and pat gently until fully absorbed. For an extra boost on very dry days, layer it 2–3 times before your cream.

Made for you if…

  • Your skin feels tight or dry underneath, even after moisturizing.
  • Redness and irritation show up at the smallest thing.
  • Your barrier feels worn out and nothing seems to settle it.
  • You want real hydration without stickiness or weight.
  • You’d like one step that hydrates, calms and repairs.

What Korean customers say

Q&A

Q1. What skin type is it for?

It’s made for dry, dehydrated skin that gets red or irritated easily. The texture is light and watery, so it also works well on combination skin that feels tight underneath.

Q2. Where does it go in my routine?

After cleansing and toner, before your cream. Apply 1–2 droppers and pat gently until absorbed. On very dry days you can layer it 2–3 times.

Q3. Does it feel sticky or heavy?

No. It’s a clear, watery ampoule that sinks in quickly and leaves skin moist, not tacky, so it layers easily under cream and makeup.

Q4. Is it OK for breakout-prone skin?

Plenty of Korean reviewers with sensitive, breakout-prone skin say it suits them. It’s designed to support the barrier and help balance oil and moisture. As with any new product, patch test first and stop using it if irritation occurs.

Q5. Has it been tested?

Yes. It has completed a skin irritation test, and its hydration, redness, radiance and texture results come from a human application test at Kyung Hee University’s Skin Biotechnology Center (20 women, 2020). Individual results may vary.

Q6. Can I use it while pregnant or with a skin condition?

It’s a cosmetic for external use only. If you’re pregnant, under medical care for your skin, or unsure, please check with your doctor first.

Q7. Where is this made - South Korea?

All products on Gochujar are proudly made in South Korea, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
