Real Red Ginseng, Gentler Taste
[Cheong Kwan Jang] Everytime Soft Korean Red Ginseng Sticks (10 mL)
- Softer taste
- Korean honey added
- 1 stick a day
- Since 1899
Love the idea of red ginseng but not the bitterness? Everytime Soft (에브리타임 소프트) is made for you. It's Cheong Kwan Jang's 6-year-old Korean red ginseng, rounded out with Korean honey, a little licorice extract and propolis, so it goes down smooth while still tasting like the real thing.
In Korea, Cheong Kwan Jang needs no introduction. It's the name everyone trusts for red ginseng, and the Everytime sticks are its best-seller. Soft takes the same idea, 10 mL of ready-to-drink red ginseng in a slim stick, and makes it gentle enough for anyone who's been put off by the bitter taste.
Every stick starts with 6-year-old Korean roots, checked with 432 safety tests on the raw ginseng. Korea's Ministry of Food and Drug Safety recognizes red ginseng as an ingredient that may help support your immune system, ease fatigue, support healthy blood flow and memory, and give you antioxidant support.
Tear one open on the way to work, before an afternoon meeting or after a round of golf. No spoon, no water, no mess. One stick a day is all it takes.
Daniel’s Take
Soft is different from the original in one big way: the taste. The original is just red ginseng and water, so it’s strong and bitter. Soft uses a little less ginseng (20% vs. 30%) and rounds it out with Korean honey, licorice and propolis, so it goes down much more easily. The trade-off is strength: each Soft stick has 7 mg of ginsenosides, against 11.6 mg in the original. If you want the strongest daily dose, go for the original. If the bitterness has ever put you off red ginseng, start with Soft.
So what's inside?
Full Ingredients List Korean red ginseng concentrate 20% (6-year-old roots, Korea; 64% solids; ginsenosides Rg1 + Rb1 + Rg3 5.5 mg/g; root blend: main roots 70%, fine roots 30%), purified water, agave syrup, fructooligosaccharide, licorice extract, honey (Korea), propolis (Australia). Each 10 mL stick provides 7 mg of ginsenosides Rg1 + Rb1 + Rg3.
To take 1 stick (10 mL) once a day. Hold the stick upright, tear it open along the notch and drink straight from the stick.
In the box 20 sticks (20 days), 30 sticks (30 days) or 50 sticks (50 days), each 10 mL and individually sealed. Made in South Korea by Korea Ginseng Corporation (Daejeon).
To keep At room temperature, away from direct sunlight. Drink it right after opening. Best before date is printed on the pack.
Good to know A health functional food, not a medicine. A little natural red ginseng sediment is normal. Take care if you're on diabetes medication or blood thinners, and check with your doctor first if you're pregnant, breastfeeding or taking medication. The stick's edges are sharp, so take care when opening or carrying it.
[Cheong Kwan Jang] Everytime Soft Korean Red Ginseng Sticks
정관장 에브리타임 소프트

Real red ginseng, without the bitter edge
Everytime Soft (에브리타임 소프트) is Cheong Kwan Jang's red ginseng stick with a gentler taste. It's the same 6-year-old Korean red ginseng, rounded out with Korean honey, licorice extract and propolis, in a 10 mL stick you can drink straight from anywhere.
In Korea, Cheong Kwan Jang is the name everyone trusts for red ginseng. If you've ever winced at the bitterness, this is the one to try. Choose a box of 20, 30 or 50 sticks.

Smoother, but still the real thing
Cheong Kwan Jang keeps the taste of red ginseng and softens the finish with three supporting ingredients: Korean honey, licorice extract and propolis. The result is easy to drink straight from the stick, with no bitter aftertaste to brace for.
Each stick holds 20% red ginseng concentrate made from 6-year-old roots, giving you 7 mg of ginsenosides (Rg1 + Rb1 + Rg3).

Soft vs. Original: what's different
Taste: Original is pure red ginseng, rich, earthy and noticeably bitter. Soft keeps the red ginseng taste but has a gentler, slightly sweet finish.
Ingredients: Original is just two things, red ginseng concentrate (30%) and water. Soft has 20% concentrate, plus Korean honey, licorice extract, propolis, agave syrup and fructooligosaccharide.
Ginsenosides (Rg1 + Rb1 + Rg3) per stick: Original has 11.6 mg. Soft has 7 mg.
Box sizes: Original comes in boxes of 30, 50 or 100 sticks. Soft comes in boxes of 20, 30 or 50.
The same in both: 6-year-old Korean red ginseng, 10 mL sticks, one stick a day, and about 10 kcal with under 1 g of sugar per stick.
Which to choose: go for Original if you want the strongest dose and don't mind the bitterness. Choose Soft if the bitter taste has kept you away from red ginseng.

Backed by data, not just tradition
Cheong Kwan Jang runs 432 safety tests on its raw ginseng, and its red ginseng research is behind 60 published papers and 119 ginseng-related patents.
Korea's Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) recognizes red ginseng as a health functional ingredient that may help with five things: supporting immune function, easing fatigue, supporting healthy blood flow (by helping inhibit platelet aggregation), supporting memory and providing antioxidant support.
Fatigue: in a study of 24 healthy men, those who took 3 g of red ginseng extract a day for 8 weeks alongside exercise had significantly lower blood lactate after exercise than the control group.
Recovery: in a study of 18 healthy male students aged 19–22, those who took 20 g of red ginseng concentrate a day for 10 days had significantly lower creatine kinase levels, a marker of muscle damage, after hard exercise than the placebo group.
Sources: Yoon S.J. et al., Journal of Ginseng Research 32(3), 2008; Jung H.L. et al., Preventive Nutrition and Food Science 15(2), 2010. These studies used red ginseng, not this specific product, and results may not apply to everyone.

The morning rush: one soft squeeze before you face the commute.
Before the big meeting: a quick pick-me-up between back-to-back calls.

The bitter taste has always kept you away from red ginseng.
You want to stay steady through busy, tiring days.

How to take it
