The pot is made of premium-grade stainless steel.

Specifically, there are 3-layers: Stainless Steel (grade 304) on top, Aluminum in the middle and Stainless Steel (grade 430) on the bottom (more details in product page).

While this pot is great for shabu-shabu, use it for Korean soups/stews like oden-tang or jeongol.

01. Shabu Shabu Pot - 24 cm

02. Shabu Shabu Pot - 28 cm

Dimensions: 28 cm x 10 cm | Weight: 1.5 kg

(Recommended for 4-5 people)

- NOTICE - 

Please do the following before first use

1. Use the soft-side* of a dish sponge - as well as soap - and do an initial wash 

(*Using the coarse, darker side may scratch the pot - refrain from using)

2. Next, add in an equal ratio of Baking Soda (1T) : Vinegar (1T) to the pot 

You'll see bubbles foam up - add in (5T) of cold water and swish it around the pan

Next, place the pot on a medium-low heat and let it gently simmer for 10-15 minutes (add more water if necessary)

3. Afterwards, wipe the pot down with a few a paper towels

When you wipe, you may see some black residue - this is normal (it's from the manufacturing process)

4. Next, dab a paper towel with a small amount of cooking oil

Thoroughly wipe the inside of the pan with this oil

5. Now give the pot a final rinse - wash oil off with soap & water

Then dry it off completely

(You only have to do this once - before first use)
