This is Kisoondo's Strawberry Gochujang.
It's made by mixing Kisoondo's Traditional Gochujang + Fresh Strawberries!
The gochujang brings a spicy, funky, salty & deeply savory taste.
While the strawberries add a touch of sweetness - to round out that spice!
It's simply perfect for K-BBQ meat marinades, for basting freshly-grilled seafood or oven-roasted vegetables.
Similar to their other product, this Strawberry Gochujang is made with only natural ingredients:
Strawberry 30%, Gochujang 70% [Glutinous Rice, Gochugaru, Meju Powder, Roasted Bamboo Salt, Soy Sauce, Malt]
It contains no preservatives, additives, refined sugar or MSG.
The Gochujang is then left to rest and ferment in large Korean Hanggari pots.

I was motivated to search out this gochujang from a recent news story about the company that makes this delicious kisoondo strawberry condiment. We've used it several times and even my husband, who isn't all that adventurous when cooking has added it to stir fries and loved it. While I don't appreciate much strawberry flavor, the rich, deep umami taste it imparts to everything it's added to is fabulous. Will most likely be purchasing more.
I saw this featured on CBS Saturday morning news (https://www.cbs.com/shows/video/w9CMw06K4oi9N7TmK7wX6kn5_EnyT0m6/) and just had to try it. It is beautifully complex on the tongue and I love the thickness of it. We've had it on chicken and beef and I love it!
We are thoroughly enjoying this delicious product. We have been using it in a variety of foods, including in some soups, on eggs, with some vegetables, and I have used it in smoked turkey sandwiches on 3-seed boule bread. In all candor, the $65 price tag for a jar makes this truly a luxury item. I don't argue that it is not worth it, because it is unique and delicious and we saw from the television presentation all that goes into making it. But the reality is that we are not likely to purchase it again unless we see a 50% price drop, which we know is unlikely. Nevertheless, we're grateful for the opportunity to have tried it and so pleased that you created it. All the best to you in growing your consumer base.
