Deep-tasting Korean Broth
[Badaro] Korean Dashima Pieces
We’re excited to introduce Badaro’s Korean Dashima.
This dashima (kelp) is grown in the clean coastal waters of Wando, South Korea, near Geumil Island—an area responsible for nearly 70% of Korea’s total kelp production.
Kelp from this region is well known for its excellent quality, deep umami flavor, and naturally rich nutritional value.
Simply add a few pieces of this Korean kelp with broth anchovies to make a rich, savory anchovy–kelp broth. This flavorful base creates a deep layer of umami that you can build on to make your favorite Korean soups and jjigae.
From time to time, we also like to add a few pieces of kelp directly to the rice cooker. It gently releases umami and aroma into the rice, making your fluffy white rice even more delicious.
For freshness and quality, please store this dried kelp in the freezer.
Available in 150 g or 300g bags.
