Ultra-thin wall casting translates to cast-iron cookware that is much lighter than traditional cast iron (30% less weight) - without comprising on heat retention or durability!

Furthermore, no seasoning is required.

Moosse applies a durable, multi-layer coating on both the interior and exterior of each cast-iron piece - preventing foods from sticking to it and protecting it from acidic foods and rusting.

Moosse's Cast Iron Cooking Ware will heat on all types of stovetops: gas stove, ceramic cooktop, electric, coil and even induction!

They can also be cooked in the oven - safe up to 500°F.

Today, we present Moosse's Signature Korean BBQ Pans:

Before the '90s, many families used a gamasot (large iron cauldron) to cook rice, as well as the heavy lid for grilling meat. 

It worked exceptionally well for grilling meat - as the cast iron got very hot while distributing heat evenly. 

It created a beautiful searing on meat, especially on popular cuts of meat like Samgyeopsal (thin strips of pork belly).

Nowadays, this method of grilling is hard to find as K-BBQ restaurants opt-in for more economical, smaller-sized grills.

(The cast-iron lids are too big, heavy and expensive).

That's why we're very excited to bring you Premium Cast-Iron Korean BBQ Pans - designed for the modern home!

Today, we present 2 different types:

  • H3 Korean BBQ Pan (Flat): This grill pan is flat - with a large bottom surface area! 

  • H5 Korean BBQ Pan (Concave): The sides of the grill pan are concave - meaning the meat will cook and drip-off oil to the center.

If you're having trouble deciding - we recommend the H5 (Concave) version.

On the the H5 pan, the oil from the meat will pool in the center. Cook Kimchi, garlic, onions and/or mushrooms in it for delicious banchan.

It will taste amazing - and it's the proper way to do Korean BBQ! 

(Note: If too much oil pools in either pan, soak it up with a few kitchen towels or a slice of bread)

Finally, after cooking the meat, you can make fried rice with the leftover ingredients in either pan.

Tips for Better K-BBQ!

1. Heat the BBQ pan on a medium heat for 3-4 minutes - get it nice & hot!

2. Once it gets to about 240°C, drizzle a small layer of cooking oil around the pan

3. Place the cuts of meat along the sides of the pan. Place garlic, mushroom & onions in the middle

4. If too much oil collects in the middle, use a slice of bread or kitchen towels to soak it up

Q: CAN I USE IT ON MY STOVETOP?

Yes,  the Ttukbaegi pot can be cooked on any stovetop*

(*Ttukbaegi 13cm does not work on induction stove - the others sizes are induction-friendly)
