i bought this as an extra for the set, but now it’s the main lid i use with all my cookware. i love the how well it stays where you place it due to the flat bottom and grippy sides. this also makes it easier to shake off condensation. i wish it was included as part of the set without the extra cost, however i was impressed with the shipping speed of getting both together in one box delivered to the US.

The lid fits perfectly with the 22 cm Sodam Cooking Pot that was part of the Sodam Cookware Set. As usual, shipping was quick, and the lid looks gorgeous just like the rest of the Sodam Cookware Set. Merry Christmas everyone.

I had to get the lid to match the set, so happy I did as it keep the food nice and warm for an hour after being served! Its a must buy for sure.

Once upon a time, if I thought I'd pay $50 for a single lid for a cooking pot, I'd have said I needed my head examined. But this was totally worth it for the extended practicality and usefulness it provides.

It's designed to fit the middle-size of the three Modori pans and the quality is just as outstanding. The top handle is the same wood-look bakelite with a nice, easy-to-clean texture. The silicone seal is the best thing I've ever seen on a pot lid and the steam vent is genius. I can't imagine not having this final item to round out my cooking panoply. In fact, I'm wondering why they don't simply include it as part of the set. I guess because it's the only piece that doesn't stack neatly together with the rest? That would be an odd reason in my book.

Nevertheless, I sincerely believe it's worth having to extend the versatility of the cookware. Highly recommended!
